Mark Schneider is Professor of Political Science at the State University of New York, Stony Brook. He has written widely on education policy. His last book Choosing Schools: Consumer Choice and the Quality of American Schools (written with Paul Teske and Melis sa Marschall) was published by Princeton University Press in 2000 and won the 2002 Aaron Wildavsky Best Book Award from the Policy Studies Organization.
